My Favorite Calligraphy Tools
Hey Y’all!
So, I’ve spent A LOT of time (and money 😅) testing out tons of calligraphy and art products over the years! I wish there was a “try before you buy” option for everything, but unfortunately, that is not the case. To really and truly get a feel for whether or not a calligraphy tool will work for you, you kind of have to just take the leap and purchase it. Then, cross your fingers in hopes that it actually works!
Fortunately, for you, after all of my years of trial and error, I’ve come up with a pretty solid “best of the best” list for calligraphy tools and supplies! I’ve taken a bit of the guesswork away so you can feel confident in what you’re spending your money on and focus on what you actually want to do — create beautiful calligraphy art! The Calligraphy Starter Kit
These supplies will get you started with brush calligraphy and/or pointed-pen calligraphy. I recommend learning the basics with brush calligraphy first, then pointed pen. But, of course, do what feels most exciting to you! It’s all about having fun and creating!

2-in-1 Pen Nib Holder - This is great for both left-handed and right-handed artists!

Guideline Templates - Using guidelines is CRUCIAL when practicing calligraphy. Here are a few different sizes for you to practice on.
